Urban Escape - Workspace Design for WeWork UK
Urban Escape is a two-phase refurbishment project for WeWork UK limited in Stockholm, Sweden. 13,500 sqft of co-working space was 90% occupied for opening in 2019.
Located in central Stockholm, WeWork Urban Escape offers all the facilities that are typically expected from the co-working provider in a central part of the city.
The first locations for WeWork in Sweden, the sites opened in 2019 providing office space for over 1,000 members in 13,500 sqft.
The design offers cutting-edge contemporary offices allowing the WeWork members to benefit from such facilities as; meeting rooms, wellness, alcohol, barista, and rooftop bars.
As part of the in-house studio, our responsibilities involved creating a concept design to uphold the vision for the development, taking the scheme to a RIBA Stage 2, and then acting as peer review of tender & construction documents and site monitoring.
